OPEX MOTION, Operation Exchange Motion is a 7 day intensive study and artistic exchange. Focused dancers ages 13-18 have been selected for this project throughout the year from various workshops. There is an emphasis on sharing oneself, beginning each day with an exchange of information and movement created by the dancer. A diverse framework of teachers, choreographers, and mentors provide not only a strong technical structure but guided, human experiences and interactions. They will participate in a wide range of classes, improvisations, rehearsals, auditions, site specific film and photo experiences, concluding in a live exhibition. Dancers will play an integral part in the foundation of OPEX MOTION and the development of the project's existence.
